got 30 lb svo's from santa

got 30 lb svo's from santa

are they too big for what i'm running,should i send them back and get 24's
running mods in sig plus afr heads, 6lb boost and no fmu.
will either burn custom chip or have one burnt for the new injecters.

30# injectors should not be too big. 24# don't support much more power than the factory 22# units. Now put a smaller pulley on that bad boy and let's see some BOOST!

I agree, 30 pounders aren't too big for a clean Idle. They will give you more headroom to work with(horsepower wise). They will add a larger margin of protection from lean out (compaired to the 24s). two birds in hand are worth one in the bush, and besides, you you really don't want to P··· Off Santa. He might bring you a diesel '83 Ford Escort Stationwagon for Christmas next year.
