89prochargedroc,

I pruchased my D1sc, thru http://www.performancess.com
I paid around $3800 for the kit, and the only extra's was the polished head unit (which is a $200 option) and if you want the polished intake tract that's and extra $100

The unit shipped in 5 weeks from the date ordered, oh yeah, i also had my head unit built with the noisey gears (97db)

hope this helps,
later
larry

After pricing for months, I decided to buy my D1SC kit from David Back (dback@tenperf.com) at Tenacious Performance. He has been absolutely the best in terms of service after the sale and has oftentimes e-mailed me asking for updates.

I paid $3387 with no options. The closest anyone else came to matching this price was Performance SS, who said they would match it but only with a certified check. Their best price via credit card was $3487.

I like the look of the cast compressor, it looks similar to the alternator which is sits next to. On the polished intake piece, I decided to get the no-cost cast, then had it polished and the two engine compartment intake ducting chromed, all for $90.

Pulley size is determined at the time of purchase -- ATI wants specs on your engine and the amount of boost you want to produce -- basically you work with them to determine the best pulley size for YOUR car.

I originally received a 4.00" pulley. After trying it out for about one month, I called ATI and request the next smaller size pulley, a 3.70" piece. They mailed it to me at no extra charge.

The D1 and D1SC both come with the three-core intercooler, so yes, it is what I got.
