SPIRALMAX supercharger, $100?

http://www.spiralmax.com

does anyone know if it truly boosts performance that much? Maybe I'm being sucked in by wishful thinking...

Are they really charging a C note for that little piece of sheet metal cut up like a pinwheel?

I cannot believe that this question STILL keeps cropping up. It deserves to be in a FAQ as a bad modification.

There is ABSOLUTELY no validity to this device. It puts a restriction into the air flow. Reduced air flow does not increase power.

It is so bad that even Ron Popeil won't sell it on one of his Infomercials.

I've heard they work well as cookie cutters around holiday time.

Oh my god! The B.S. that they will try to sell on the internet! That reminds me of the guy at South Of The Border (NC and SC state line) that tried to sell me a device that will give me 50 HP and increase my MPG to 50 on the highway!!!

AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
