My cogged Vortech is now making a ratcheting/chirping noise in the air intake @ 1500rpm and up part throttle, no noise WOT. It spins nice by hand, no indicators anything is mechanically bad. Is it possible that small misfires and the cog set up is possibly causing the noise? The pipes to the intercooler shake pretty bad when the noise occurs. How can I tell if the centrifugal aspects of the blower are working properly? Anyone ever take their blowr apart?
