airfoil

I have a 91Z28 with a paxton giving me 8lbs of boost. I ran a best of 13.1 @ 109mph. Would an airfoil make any difference? I know they claim that they give a 14-25hp on a non aspirated car and realize that they are a minnor bolt on and are not a magic bolt-on into the 12's. Just wondering what they would do to a S/C car? Any one have any exp with this item on their s/c car?

Thanks

Craiger

the airflow on a supercharged engine is the same through the throttle body as on a naturally aspirated engine, so there should really be no difference to speak of.

14-25 hp on an airfoil theres no possible way for an air foil to make that much hp especially on an stock motor. Ive seen 5hp on rw dyno. Given u have the Supercharger the airfoil should help w/ turbulence and give u maybe 14-25 hp
by the way SLP has them for 29.00 not bad.

I realize that a an airfoil will not give you a true 14-25hp, that's just what is advertised. I realize that this bolt on is a very minnor part although i was wondering if it will have a better effect on a s/c car because of the trublence? I had one on my corvette and did not notice it at all. I plan to upgrade my rockers to 1.6 roller tips, port the plentum and put the air foil on as a project to help squeeze a .1 in the qtr mi.

Thanks for the reply
