which one would you recommend?

although i'm not ready just yet, i'm looking forward to my new supercharger. which one would you recommend, considering ease of install, performance gain, bang for the buck, etc. it will be going on my 87 iroc 350, fairly stock, sort of. any more advice before i break the bank account to listen to the 'whine?' tia...

you will need to convert to a serpentine setup off of a 88 or newer IROC to get a ATI or vortech which i feel are superior to your only choice of paxton.

also my vote would be ATI.....never seen a stock TPI car put into the 12s with a vortech....but i've seen many do it with ATI

ATI or Vortech. Paxton and Powerdyne are entry level setups that don't have the tech support or technology for serious power. The Vortech V2 would be dead quite and make your car a sleeper.

As far as getting into the 12s it's just a matter of setting up the car right. My '94 Vette used a Vortech and ran 12.2 @ 122 mph on the street tires using a stock cam, stock computer, and stock injectors and dynoed 420 RWHP on pump gas. Given a tune and cam swap it would have been a monster.
