anyone using a cyberdyne digital boost guage?

anyone using the cyberdyne guage? Im having probs with mine, the directions say hook up the black wire to ground then say hook the black wire to the center of th emap sensor. now all I get out of the guage is just the light that says boost to light up, no #'s the dir say if you get the other wires backwards you either get EEE or --- but nothing about nothing at all. any ideas??
thanks

Ill take a shot at it.Does it refer to using a MAP sensor?I would thing to use a map sensor it would have to be at least 2 bar to read boost.1 bar wont read.I thought those gauges used GM sensors?Maybe a GN boost sensor would work, since GNs were MAF and the sensor was used just for a boost gauge.TRy this if not call the company.I also think the sensor thas to be powered and grounded, the MAP sensor,12 volts to one wire, ground the other and the read would be off the center.Hope this helps some

yeah thats how I have it set up, with the Grand National Map sens and the wiring as I had stated earlier which sounds the same as what you wrote, I was hoping for something more Trying to talk to cyberdyne is a joke.

I am not very familiar with the MAP cars. You can get a stcok 90-92SD car to use a 2bar boostable MAP?

------------------
Paxton NOVI supercharger W9Lb underdrive Combo pulley, 75HP N20 shot for charge air cooling, SVO 30Lb injectors, Accel AFPR & 300+ ignition, coil and wires, airfoil(getting T/B bored to 2.080" Sold BBK 52mm), ported MAF(waiting on 512gm.sec fix)Bosch Platinum plugs & O2 sensor
E-Tec200 heads ASM LTR & portmatched plennum, Crane Gold 1.6RR's & ZZ4 cam(small cam=streetable). Steel crank & rods, TRW blower pistons W/ZGS rings, all balanced, splayed main 94Vortec block, 1 5/8" long headers, SLP 3"catback minus the kitty!
Moser 9", 35 Spline Detroit Locker & Moser axle's 3:50 ratio HRW 3.250 case with Daytona pinion support, Strange Billet housing ends & 1350 Billet yoke wearing 94Formula disc's held in by all Lakewood adjustable components. HI-TQ GER 700trans,
2400stall with Cyberdyne fuel PSI and trans temp guages on pillar guage pod, 24,000GVW B&M cooler. Edelbrock strut tower brace. Working on converting to 89 chip & wiring.

the guage requires the MAP sensor from the 81-87 grand national (turbo regals) its designed as an aftermarket set up to be used that way to get the correct readings.
