F-body vs. Fox-body

Okay so here's the deal, I just purchased an '84 Camaro Z28 with a 5.0L H.O. and I have the notorious cousin with the '92 Mustang 5.0 LX. Well here goes, my Dad and I were BS'n with my cousin and we came to the idea that we are gonna race for pinks. Well here's the low down on the Rustang:
1992 5.0 LX
no internal engine mods or head work just bolt-ons
Underdrive pulleys
K&N filter
old motorsport plug wires
motorcraft plugs
borg-warner dist. cap
Mac ceramic coated headers
Centerforce gold clutch
Stock T-5 tranny
stock 2.73 posi rear gears
a buncha added weight in the car(books, speakers, and stuff)
AND a guy who doesnt know how to launch with out doin a burnout or bogging down.

And the ol Z28 is getting in the next couple days:
Late model 350(dipstick is on the same side as my 305 H.O. hehe)
forged flat-top pistons
big lunati bumpstick (don't know duration yet)
stall converter
my 305 H.O. heads (ported and polished, of course
stock 3.73 posi rear end
sticky 14in tires to lower the gear ratio to 4:10
250 hp NOS system
major weight reduction

I told him that he can inspect my engine and see that its the stock 305(hehe) and I am gonna stick my NOS in later in the afternoon after his "inspection". So, I know, im kinda cheating, but I also told him he could do any mods he wants in one month's time. Thing is, he is one of those peeps that likes to say he's getting a supercharger and never does. So, who do u think will win and by how much, I know u guys hate these questions, im just curious. So help a brotha out and tell me your opinion and also tell me my new mods i should do for my '92 mustang i am getting hehe

Thanks,
Chris "$teve" Williams

I know you must have meant to put this in the "Theoretical and Street Racing" Forum.

I think the NOS portion fits this board.

There is a way to hide NOx so he will never see it. you have to drill holes in the back of the cylinder block and install fittings for the fuel and NOx lines to go through. A distribution block gets mounted under the center of the plenum from there, fuel and NOx get plumbed to each runner from the underside. One of the car mags did an article on this very subject about a year ago. Your wiring harness will hide the lines going into the back of the block.

Dan, never say never. when i was in Philly i saw several systems that were VERY tricky. there were cars that you KNEW, were on the juice & you could not find it. I saw guys pull up in cars that looked like/ sounded like/ smelled like/ idled like 12 second cars & yanked the wheels & pulled down low 10's. where there is a will there is a way.

I was not going to comment on this post, but while i am here i might as well lay it out. I personally think that if you are going to hammer the guy @ least stand up & tell him what you have. if you are gonna sucker punch him dont tell me about it first. I dont want to know. I dont think that this is what racing is about. I have run the bottle on & off since day one when there were not even any jets in them, & if you ask i am going to tell you yes. Heck, check out my old buggy, we bolted the bottle right there in plain view. again this was back in the infancy of NOS & you could not turn the bottle sideways.

Okay so, I just went and splurged and bought a 400 SBC and I lowered the nitrous shot to 125 hp. Stil think I have a chance of beating the 5.slow?
Thanks,
