Info on release of Banks twin turbo for SBC

I talked to one of the engineers at Gale Banks and learned that they are planning to release the twin turbo kit for EFI Chevy in 60 to 90 days. I'm on their notice list and will know the day it is released. I'll let you all know when I hear from them.

Can you elaborate for which year/motor combination this will apply to? (350/305/2.8)

That would be nice.
I wonder if they are using their same old cast manifold design or a tubular header design.

Chevy small block V8 multiport fuel injected. I don't know about kits for specific chassis.

I've seen a guy on this board who works for Gale Banks. Maybe he can fill us in.

I don't work for Gale Banks, but I am a dealer for them. I spoke to my salesman 2 months ago, and they didn't have any plans. However, they were talking about MAYBE releasing an improved version of their inefficient log-style manifolds from the '80's. If I hear anything I will post it.

At this point the most important information to me is the cost. As a dealer do you think you could probe around and get an idea how much a 3rd gen kit would cost and how much Hp we're talking about? I want to put out about 600 Hp. It probably won't be their basic kit. I need to figure out if I'm going to finish the big block install or just find a buyer for it and go the a turbocharged small block. If the price is right I'll be on top of the turbo kit so fast I might actually be the first buyer!

Any new news on this?

I personally would like to buy a kit with the hp between 600 and 800. How much did those go for in the old days before they stopped making the kits?
