Idea for a fade-in nitro
Idea for a fade-in nitro
Why not have nitrous start at 0 and rise to lets say a 100 shot by RPM? So as not to blow the engine? My friend tried a 225 shot on his 67 (?) stang and all 8 spark plugs EXPLODED.

One cheater way to get a small "lag" is to put the solenoids up on the front radiator core support. this will give you a lag of the hit, but not a reduction or progressive hit. we used to do this quite a bit "in the old days" so that you did not smoke the tires out of the hole. we also used to put the Fuel solenoid "close" to the plate & the NOS solenoid "far" from the plate & play with the lengths of tubing to change how it hit. this is labor intensive & somewhat cost prohibitive, but it served its purpose & keeps things simple @ the pilots chair.

The progressive kits are a good idea, but think about this, how does it work??? It cycles the solinoids open and closed to limit spray. How hard is that on the solinoids!

True that cycling causes wear on the cylinoids, however, titrating the nitro in to the motor puts less stress on the internals. cylinoids are cheap and easy to rebuild. And when you titrate the nitro in to the motor, you'r able to get more traction. I ran mid 12's before i had my progressive timmer and ran a 11.8 after i got the controller! After i rebuilt the motor, i ran a 10.15 with out the gas...got flagged because of no drive shaft loop/rollcage
