The only thing is it is off the motor, and when you try to spin the pulley that belt goes on it is very hard to do, should that be like that or should it spin freely? Is it worth a grand or what should I offer him? One more ? what is paxtons website? the model # I believe was sv93 or somethin with a 93 in it!!!

The pulley should be somewhat stiff, but not hard as a rock. I just bought a complete Paxton SC, and have everything to bolt it on, minus the tubing to the throttlebody (anyone???). I spent $1400 on mine, complete with the MSD-6BTM. We'll see how it works IF THE VORTEC TPI BASE EVER GET'S RELEASED!!!

Anyway, cool about the SC man. Wish it were a Vortech though, wish I had an intercooler. No $$$.

The one that I have is a lot harder to turn than i thought it woudl be but it was not impossible. I was quite surprised, but I guess considering that I am turning the compersore 4.something time faster than the pully it is not that surprising I suppose.

If it is all complete, sounds like a pretty good deal. I guess the $10,000,000 question is why is he really getting rid of it?

He got it off a guy thats all I know, he has two pulleys, the one thats on there would make it a 10pound boost, it takes some effort to turn, but it can turn!!!!

Beware of spinning the blower too fast! Paxon's ball drive units which are the sn series are only desighned to spin up to 38,000 rpms. You can figure out the rpms of the supercahrger by: Crank pulley dia / sc pulley dia X 4.4 X rpm of the engine = rpm of the supercharger.

I agree with Guido. Use that money towards a real supercharger. Not a third owner one. Guaranteed trouble there. If they have changed pulleys then they have probably run it hard. Most likely too hard. I personally have blown up 3 different SN series and they blow up entirely TOO easy. Go with vortec, ATI or whipple and you will be happier.
