You don't really replace the HEI with the MSD, they work together. If your engine is stock you won't notice any difference. You'll only see a change if you have high compression or run at high RPM.

I have a high preformance 350, the MSD package comes with the coil and The Soft Touch(to keep from overreving). Im pretty sure I have high compression Pistons. So Should I see a difference?

My car has had an MSD as long as I've owned it. I've never taken it off to compare, but you might notice easier starting, smoother idle and high-RPM operation. Maybe a tiny bit of improvement in mileage and power.

<<This kit solves the common problem of power loss and lack of response above 4,500 rpm. It allows you to remove or bypass the low powered HEI module and coil and replace them with the 6AL ignition control and Blaster 2 high output coil. The result is more power, increased rpm range, easier starting, plus better mileage and performance. The kit fits all GM V8 engines with the GM HEI internal coil distributor and includes an MSD 6AL ignition with Soft Touch rev control to protect your engine from overreving, Blaster 2 coil, coil wire, HEI dust cover and coil bracket.>> This is what it said about the super Hei kit the one I was thinking about getting, SOund like a good deal? Its for 244.95 for the whole kit. Thanks
