Unfortunately Paxton does not make a gear driven (like the NOVI 2000) kit for the third gen F body. The only one they have available in a bolt on kit is the SN series. These are driven with a "ball drive" transmission. They require constant care, on going rebuilds, and have limited boost potential. They also have a relatively low redline for impeller speed. They don't have enough output to be able to effectively blow through an intercooler. On the good side they are not very expensive. They also don't require tapping into the engines oil system. They were also the first company to offer a centrifugal supercharger for these cars. They are still the only one to make direct bolt on kits for 85 to 87 models. They are relatively quiet, that may be good or bad depending on whether you are trying to be sneaky.
The ATI Procharger is a gear driven unit meaning it is noisy but stronger. No constant rebuilding. You won't sneak up on anybody with it though. Some units require tapping into the engines oil system, some don't. They offer more than one level of performance from mild to "race only" wild, and everywhere in between. They come with intercoolers and have intercooler upgrades available. The ATI head units run cooler than the balldrive Paxtons. They have a fairly high impeller RPM redline. You can more easily get and safely use different size pulleys to change boost levels without overspeeding the impeller.
They make direct bolt on kits for 88-92 models They do not make a direct bolt on kit for 85-87 models but you can retrofit the accessories and accessory drive system from an 88-92 model and then use the kit for 88-92s.

Basicaly the Paxton cost less to start with but will cost more in the long run in maintanance costs.
The ATI will cost more at the beginning but probably cost less over time. The ATIs are also able to make more power.

Thanks alot! You sound like you know your stuff. I'm actually building it for 67 Camaro after I put on an EFI set-up and pulleys for a serpintine set-up. Looks like I'll be getting pulleys off a 88-92 model.
