Should I upgrade my fuel system?
I have a stock fuel system on my car right now with the Paxton(later some nitrous). I was wondering if it would be a good idea to upgrade it even if there doesn't seem to be any problems? How should I upgrade it inline fuel pump, bigger injectors, etc.?

if youre going to be using nitrous soon l would definately reccomend you upgrade it, you should probably move up in injector sizes, you should probably also use a larger fuel pump and youll need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. when you use the nitrous system (if youve got a TPI) most systems namely the one by NOS uses the wet technique which enrichens the mixture through the test port on the fuel rail. don't let that mislead you into thinking youve still got enough fuel. the most important fuel upgrade you do would be the pump and adjustable regulator. the pump obviously won't do you much good without a good adjustable regulator. people all have their different opinions as to which injectors would be good to use. If it was me I would probably use a cheaper brand of #24's (Accel, or even the Ford injectors) are pretty cheap and as far as I'm concerned they would do a fine job.

When you say add a bigger pump, should I just add a better intank pump or add an inline pump to aid my stock intank pump?

l'd say either one. its really up to you what you want to do. if it was me i would do it the right (and coincidentally hard) way and replace the in tank pump. thats only because l have access to a lift. either way it would be good, but if its a matter of ease, go for the in line pump.

A big intank should do just about anything you throw at it.Walbro GSS340M flows enough to support up to 600hp,I run this pump in my car with 50lb injectors. No problems yet.It cost me $110 for the pump and $10 for installation kit.Pump is plug and play in the intank sender very easy to replace.
