I HAVE A 1985 305 TPI TA AND IM LOOKING INTO HEADS IF I USE 350 HEADS WHAT YEARS ARE COMPATIBLE WIHT MY MOTOR AND HOW MUCH OF A HORSEPOWER GAIN WOULD I BE LOOKING AT??????

as far as I know 350 heads will not work because the valves are too big for the bore and 64cc heads will lower your compression 305 hi perf heads have 58cc chambers and 1.84 intakes and 1,5 exhausts these are your best bet. I have heard of 305 vortecs but never confirmed their exsistance

I just put an 85 TPI unit on a 350 4bolter bored it .060 used a set of 186 fulies a Crane TPI cam, Speed Pro hyper flattops and a few other goodies then changed to a speed dencity system with a hyper chip going into an 86 T/A with a turbo 350E and 373gears got the harness and computer from jims performance

350 heads fit as long as you don't go to 2.02 intakes. If you do then the block has to have valve reliefs cut into it. 1.94 1.50 heads souldn't have any clearance problems.
