Does white smoke come out of the exhaust with nitrous?

Does white smoke come out of the exhaust with nitrous?
I live in Md and ebery weekend me and my brother go to race at The Metro and V-street in DC and there is always a 72 Z28 there who thinks its fast. Well he raced a 4th gen and blew it away and I got it on tape. When I watched it a big puff of white smoke came out of the exhaust right before he passed the car. Is that nitrous?

You should never "see" NOS being used. You may see black smoke if the jet it rich, but thats about all. Chance are you saw a problem on its way. Valve seals or head gasket maybe???
