crankcase psi?

As of 3weeks ago, my 91Z28 started seeping out oil around the oil cap on the valve cover. I have a paxton pushing 8lbs of boost and have not seen a loss of power. I suspect it may be because i changed to a different motor oil? I had run amsoil for the past two years. It is a chore to purchase around here, so i decided to try mobil 1 full synthetic oil back in April of this year. I was thinking maybe it is the oil breaking down? But I have only put 2500 miles on the car since the oil change. When i drive the car i can usually see a teaspoon worth of oil on the valve cover and can smell it burnning off the heads? Anyone else ever have this problem? Any help would be greatly appriciated!

I forgot to mention, I recently replaced the pvc valve and it had no effect on the problem above.

First, pull the pcv valve, and put your finger over the hole. There should be a little bit of vacuum there. If it is blowing out at you, time for a compression check.....

If that is ok, then it is just time to replace some gaskets, the trouble with synthetic oils is..... They are able to find the SMALLEST hole to escape thru........

I'm hoping for a bad valve guide. That sounds like a strange thing to hope for but it's a lot better than a bad ring!
