If you read my other post, you will know that i have just broken my bottem end in my 355. So, I have a block, Trick Flow Twised wedge 2.02's (66cc I think), Superam, 1000cfm tb, 26lb inj., Vortech S-Trim (10 and 15 lb pulleys) and that's about it. Now, what i want to do is a VERY cos efficient build up w/ my old block, or maybe even a new one. I'd like to stay w/ something LOW compression, so I can run 94 octane and 10-15lbs boost w/out any pinging/ detonation. I Want to stay NYS emmisions legal. I want to build a shortblock only. And again, I HAVE to stay real cheap like $1000 w/out the cam. I'm not sure what i can reuse out of my motor now, but we'll see when I get it apart. My questions are: considering what i have, what are some PROVEN combinations and ET's. What do you think I have to do, and how much will the work be w/ shortblock assembly and using as many old parts as possble? I want to go w/ something like he LPE 220 cam. Remember, emmsions, cost, durability, no pinging, pump gas and that i want to ust what i have. Suggestions please. I would like 383, but i guess for cost purposes, i have to stay 355 for now. please reply. thanks
