Injector Size!?!?!?!
Injector Size!?!?!?!
I'm going nuts...everyone says something different.
Right now I'm running a mildly worked 350 tpi and 10 lbs of boost on an s-trim. I have the fuel pressure at 42 psi on 30 lb injectors with the timing advanced and its still rich as hell......a few people are telling me its too much injector and a ton of people tell me im stupid for wanting to step down in injector size......
The past archives on here havent helped much either. Has anyone other than willie ran smaller sized injectors?
Tom

You could do some custom prom tuning and make those 30lb injectors work right in your system.
Modify the injector constant then tune with a scantool; it's an iterative process.

I second that.
Your injector size is fine.
You just need to control them better. A custom PROM tune is in order. You didn't say if you had a PROM that is calibrated to the stock injectors or to your new ones. If it is indeed calibrated for stock sized injectors then it will most definately run rich with larger than stock injectors.
