Couple of Questions

OK, I am in the process of having my 350 stroked to a 383, and I am using hypereutectic pistons to save myself alittle money, but still give myself something over stock . Basically what I need to know is how much horsepower can these pistons handle? My mechanic said I am looking at horsepower figures of 415-430, but why not go for more in the spring, like a 100 shot of nitrous? But can those pistons handle it? or should I just take my 400hp and walk? thanx for the help

If you are going to use nitrous, don't, use hypereutectics, they DO NOT like nitrous. You will probably have to use forged pistons.

ditto superstreet, hyperutectic piston and NOS do not mix, also there right, the pistons will handle about 400 HP anything higher then that time to hit the aftermarket rods and forged pistons.
