I just put on a 5151 kit last weekend and everthing works fine, except the NOS plate won't allow it to return to the fully closed position. The added space makes constant tension on the gas cable and wont fully close even with a return spring. Anyone else have this problem ? Is it possible to adjust the cable length?

You know how the stock bracket attaches to the plenum and holds all the cables (TV, accelerator, cruise)? Well, did you install the NOS piece inbetween the plenum and the stock bracket the moves everything forward to accomodate the changes made by the plate?

When in doubt RTFM! I left out that piece (Woops! ) and realised my mistake shortly after I posted. Everything works great now, so off to the track tommorow!
