buick 3.8 turbo

when doing the swap, does it make any difference whether you use a v6 camaro rs or a v8 iroc? either one have any advantages over the other, or will it be the same either way?

Well on the one hand v8s have stronger trannys if you got an adapter plate for the 3.8L. On the other hand the v6 will have steeper gears. No 2.73s for sure.

Doesn't matter, you'll most likely be using the 3.8 motor w/200R4 tranny(at least I would reccomend it scince they are matched together well). The only thing is the rear,if you can find or start with a V8 car with 3.23/3.27 your ahead of the game.

I don't think there is anything else scince you'll be using different motor and trans mounts,a different harness, new fuel pump, and a new driveshaft.
