What aftermark computer are you Nitro guys using?

Was wondering if anyone is using any aftermarket controller for their nitrous, and what pros/cons you have about it. I have seen a few from Holley, Jacobs Electronics etc. Im new to nitrous and dont know what features i really need to look for. I will be using a cutler/holley single plane EFI so I will end up using direct-port, since I want the setup to fit under my stock RS hood. I am only looking to put a 100-150 shot on it, so I was considering a plate, but seeing that I have to remove hood bracing for the manifold to fit without the plate, it doesnt look good. Thanks in advance.

Specs:
Cutler/Holley Single plane EFI
Turbonetics carb hat with cold-air intake
currently stock 305, but nitrous will be used on the full-forged 350 I am building

Im not going to list the 305's specs like cam etc, since nitro will not be used on it.

EDIT: If any of you guys remember Anesthes single-plane setup without the supercharger, that is exactly what mine looks like, same CAI and all, so you have an idea what im talking about.

This the style of direct-port i am looking at NOS Under Manifold Cheater Nitrous Oxide Systems: NOS-02620NOS - summitracing.com

total junk??? How much testing did you do to come to that conclusion? What solenoids were you using? What was the PWM?

That all matters. Making a broad "total junk" post just spreads ignorance when no proof is given. Some solenoids are actually designed to be pulsed(Ractested, UK stuff). The industry standard ones can also be pulsed. It is a matter of frequency and amount of use.

As with most electronics, people are afraid of stuff that doesn't come with a remote control. Research it a bit and you will see that there are good controllers and solenoids out there.

EDIT: and don't refer to it as "nitro". It is called "nitrous" or N2O (chemical composition).

I know what its called lol. If u notice in my title there is nitro and aftermark... This is to shorten the title so it isnt a paragraph long. The word NITROUS is used in the body of the subject.

The RPM based ones like the Jacobs Mastermind would appear to be better as opposed to the time based ones because with time based if you get out of shape / light up and lift the NOS is still activated whereas the RPM ones will stop until you hit the pre programmed rpm set.
The Jacobs in particular has a rev limiter cutout where it stops the NOS flow 500 rpm before your set rev limit.

Yeah, the jacobs one looked really good, especially for the price. Plus I have heard a lot of good about it. So far that is my top option. Anyone else wanna chime in?

Yes, you want one that is RPM and TPS based. Time delay would also be a nice feature to have.

What solenoids are you using? Do you have an extra solenoid for the N2O side and fuel side to act as the safety valve?

Actually 4 characters

Currently I do NOT have my setup in the car. Because I have a high-rise EFI manifold and cant use a plate (wont fit under hood) Im researching my current options and building it myself. BUT, I am looking at the Nitrous Express solenoids. From what I've heard they are some of the best quality ones, and them being larger isnt an issue as I dont plan to hide my system. If you have any other options let me know!!

The under-manifold picture that I posted earlier is an option, not because I want to hide my system, but because there is little room on top of the manifold.

Huh??? You wrote "Nitro" instead of "Nitrous".........that is 2 characters you saved. Anyway, it is rather pointless.

I heard the NX solenoids are good. Check out RaceTested and google Wizards of NOS.
