Click on this link Welcome to Turbo Mustangs.com and do a search for tbi turbo. You probably need to be a member to see the pics.

Beware of cheap headers. Some are good and some will crack and fall apart. Turbos make a lot of heat in the exhaust manifolds and makes them more prone to cracking.

You need:
ECM programming for fuel(bigger injectors) and spark or FMU and timing retard box.
Pipe for the intake and exhaust
oil feed and return lines
air filter
exhaust manifolds and good gaskets

You may need:
bigger tires
better suspension
stronger rear-end
stronger transmission

I wish I had a pic of the headers glowing red after a hard run the other night. It would give you an idea of how hard turbos are on exhaust manifolds.

I am working up a project that will involve a single M90 supercharger (duals down the road) on a 305 TBI car. I have all my mounting hardware the only obstacle ahead of me is tuning... any ideas on how to figure out which injectors I need to upgrade too and how to tune this thing? I was going to use a carb but want the luxury of fuel injection for the sake of a remote car starter (alright, hahahahaha, call me a p*ssy but it gets cold in this state). I am not very knowledgeable with fuel injection other than I can't use a screw driver to adjust it. ANY suggestions would be appreciated at sole6454@kettering.edu

Download this calculator:: http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/turbo/turbocalcs.xls

Put in your RPM, engine size, IAT, boost, and it will tell you what size injectors that you will need.

EDIT: If you install an FMU, then you can use a screw driver or wrench to adjust it.

Because of the low pressures that the TBI setup runs at FMU ratio/tuning is especially fussy with them, personally I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re very good at tuning in the first place.

Otherwise, injector size: if you’re going to get into programming/chips then just get the biggest that you can actually get your hands on. I believe they used to be available up to 96lbs/hr, the big block injectors are somewhere in the mid 70’s. You’ll probably end up running the big block injectors and a vacuum referenced regulator or at least higher then stock fuel pressure.
