ran my iroc-z saturday

Made a couple passes yesterday with my 89 iroc-z twin turbo and busted my stock 9 bolt rear.
car is full weight 89 iroc
355 4 bolt with trw pistons flat tops, stock rods/crank
AFR 210 heads 67cc summit $50 cam 224/224l

6 speed with stock rear 9 bolt 3:08 gears with twin t-70 master power turbos at 10psi. I made 2 low 12 second times at 127mph on my 17x11 bfg drag radials and then I lowered the presure on them and launched at about 3500 and went a bogged 11.7@128 with a 1.98 60 foot. Next pass launched it about 4300 and the posi broke. I have been driving the car all summer but have had all sorts of issues and just now got to a track to race my beast. I did build everything myself

Real good numbers, get it fixed and get it to hook up and you'll break 10's no problem. Good job, looks real nice.

What induction on that?
Why did you pick that particular cam?

Very good combo there, is it intercooled?

Holley steath ram. I picked that summit cam cause it was $50 bucks. Other then the heads that engine is cheap I paid about 750 for the rest of the motor and the those intakes are pretty cheap to. I even got that FAST ecm brand new from a shop going out of buisness for half price.

128MPH in the 1/4? Sounds like a ton of fun to me!

Was this run at BSD?

stainless or mild steel?
Where'd you get the bends, flanges, collectors?
How much did it run ya?
MIG, TIG?

Sorry for the barrage, but i'm considering doing this kind of thing soon, and i'm planning and pricing things out.

I got the flanges online for $25
Hooker 3 inch collectors hooker mandrel bends
materials were about $260 and its mild steel just need to coat them and they will last forever. TIG welded, here is a shot of what I started with

Holy cow that's a lot. I didn't think mild steel bends would run $260.... Hmm, interesting.
I can't enlarge that picture, so i'll trust ya
Thanks for the info.

I think 11 u-bends at $13 a piece two t-4 flanges, 2 header flanges, 2 collectors,3" u bend and 2 wastegat flanges. It adds up.

twin t-70's is a lot of air, I'd hope it went faster than 10's after everything is sorted out.
