Help me pick out a supercharger
OK, I was the 1st person in my town to really take a thirdgen and mod it fairly nicely, but of course everyone else saw what I was doing and followed suit. Now we have my friend with a 1988IROC thats quick, a Z28 with a 350 thats built pretty nicely with a 5 speed behind it (hehehe) and now thers a 1991 Firebird with supposedly a 383 and 6 speed. We also have an SRT-4 thats got full boltons and gettin a 50 trim this winter and theyres also a GTP that just got done and he ditched the blower and went with a single turbo. Now its my turn to be ahead of the game again...I'm looking for a roots blower. Could someone reccomend a place to me that has superchargers for $1900 and less because as of right now I'm looking at the Weiand 177. I'm running a mild 355 with a small cam (will change when the blower goes on), headers, custom y-pipe, 3" exhaust into a race muffler, and have 3.73s layin here just waitin to throw in (I also have a few other things that help quite a bit but that doesn't matter). I know some people are going to say the usual stuff lke my 700r4 wont hold and my 10 bolt will pop, but I'm doing a T56 swap this summer along with a 12 bolt hopefully, so if i break them, oh well. So if someone would please help me find a blower for my car I would GREATLY appreciate it.

I'd never put the money into a roots blower setup. Just my .02.
