procharged miniram fastburn... fuel and ecm choices?

ok guys.. any help would be greatly appreciated. i have a fastburn 385 hotcam motor w. a miniram and an d-1sc intercooled. i have not yet purchased fuel or ecm items. any ideas about injector size, fuel pump, ecm. i am basically ecm illeterate so i was considering the holley commander. i read that a walbro 255 w. stock fuel lines should be adequate for my combo w. 55lb injectors. do i need to run a btm? fmu? i was told to stay away from both if possible. ie, run enough fuel and let the ecm do it's job. im scared to lean it out and pop it but i also would like to idle the car since i drive it pretty regular. anyone w. a similar setup? you guys really seem to know about all there is to know on this and youre not just trying to sell me parts so , thanks again cliff.

i used to run a d1-sc blown 383 and for fuel delivery i had an aeromotive A-1000 pump, holley stealth ram with a F.A.S.T ecm and it performed flawlessly when tuned right of course.

it is an 88 iroc. red, tan tweed inside. my cousin bought it new. i purchased it from him after high school in 92 w. a blown motor. im now on my third motor. i just love this car. ive owned probably 20 camaros over the years(ialso have a 68 ss in the body shop) and this car just seems to stick w. me. i figure this time around ill spend some money and build her a real motor to make all those people pay that have been picking on her all these years.hehe. 3rd gens just dont seem to get much respect, even in the chevy world. well, we will show them,,,,, hopefully. anyhow thanks for the advice. did you keep your stock in-tank and run the aeromotive in series? on another post someone said they had a 255 in the tank and a 340 wlbro in the line on stock 3/8 fuel line. sound ok to run like this? also what size injectors did you use? everyone seems to lean toward the svo42#'s and have decent idle quality and good up top also. tpis seem to think think those are a little too small. using the equation those injectors seem good up to about 600 horses w. im sure is a far stretch for me. i dunno. anyhow, thanks again for the advice guys.. it has been a great help and very much appreciated... if you need any parts, let me know, if i dont have .... i may be able to find. cliff
