NOS system help

im looking for a 75 or 100 shot for my camaro and i picked out this one http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
what do you think? will i need anything else?
its wet. will i need a better fuel pump then my stock? or if i went to dry would it just be plug and play. i hear alot about the WOT switches and window switches. how much do they run and are they needed for both wet and dry applications? i am running a 350 TPI in my 3rd gen

Re: NOS system help

Alright to get started, the kit your looking is for either a 100 or 150 shot. not 75 shot. if your cool with 100 shot (which is perfect for a 350, as a 75 shot isnt worth paying 600 dollars for such a small improvement), it should be just fine............ For either WET or DRY shots, i wouldn't recommend a dry kit for anything over a 75 shot, as the computer will only up the fuel so much to compensate for the nitrous rich condition. So your doing good with a WET kit, it'll need the extra shot of gas in there.................. The stock fuel pump should be just fine running 100 shot (as long as your running an electric pump). If your running a stock mechanical pump, upgrade it to a 120 gph one................... You can also invest in a fuel pressure safety switch (highly recommended), that cuts the electrical connection to your solenoids if your fuel pressure drops under a safe PSI. they're about 30 bux on summit, and can save your motor in the event your fuel selinoid fails, but your nitrous one keeps spraying............ The WOT switch should come with that kit you mentioned. It basically a switch that gets pressed only when the pedal is to the floor, Allowing a complete connection to be made, so you can only hit the nitrous button and have it work ONLY when your under Wide Open Throttle WOT......... Window switches or Rpm activation switches are very nice, but will set you back anywhere from 60 bux to a few hundred depending on how convenient you want it to be and ease of adjustablility................. The RPM switch is NOT needed unless you wish for the nitrous to engage itself and start injecting on its own at a desired RPM............... The WOT switch is there for saftey purposes, so you don't spray when your rpms are too low. But its not necessary for a WOT switch if you have experience using nitrous and aren't dumb enough to hit it when your not flooring it, or have it mounted where it can accidentally be engaged by a buddy or someone else including you the driver. Hope this helped you out a bit, just post if you got more questions
