can i supercharge my 355?

can i supercharge my 355?

ive god a 4 bolt main 355. its got a gm forged crank, powdered metal rods and forged speed pro pistons. its got solid flat tappit cam and 64 cc world products sportsman 2 heads with dual springs with 9.5:1 compression. i should be making between 400 to 500 hp. can i get away with running a supercharger with my bottom end? im going to have a edelbrock victor jr intake, do u know any twin screws that will fit on that type of intake? thanks seth

what cam is in it ? If you are makeing 400-500 hp ( ummm not to sure about that ) ...then most definately you will need a new cam . also that intake will not work ...if you are bolting on one of them type of superchargers

on this article they say they use a Edelbrock Torker II Dominator manifold for the twin screw supercharger. do u need to do any fabrications to the manifold for the supercharger to fit on there? what kind of cam are u suggesting me to use? im using a bracket master 2 cam.

How do you figure 500 hp??? With what you mentioned, you must have some serious heads and pistons, as well as ignition to get those numbers. Can you elaborate a bit on your current combo?

i said between 400 to 500. not 500. a guy that i know works at wegner performance in wisconsin said i can make those numbers with alittle work the the heads. i dont have the whole thing put together. can you tell me a good head and cam combo for a charger? thanks seth

400 is even optimistic. As a baseline anyway. Your probably gonna end up making around 300, with the combo u mentioned
