does anyone have any expirience with a 6-71 roots style blower on a small block? if so do you have any numbers and was it worth it?

 

yea, I had a 383 sbc w/a 6-71 hampton blower. its awesome but it doesnt beat my twin turbo setup. lol. ran 11.xx @ 120 in a '68 Camaro on 6# boost...should of been quicker had I changed the 4.88 gears.. ended up getting rid of it all for something much better.

 

ook. i was leaning toward a turbo setup and im convinced they have greater potential but i love low end torque and i dont have the time or money for turbo setup right now. was that 11.xx time with TT or the blower?

 

11.xx was in the '68 camaro (blower car). I'd be embarassed if my current tt setup ran 11's.
