Re: ram air or cold air

I personally like the cold air. I was going to go with the ram air hood for the look byt use the cold. I decided not to cause my car looks perfect the way it is.

Re: ram air or cold air

Well, ram air technically is cold air with a plus. But ram air doesn't really do squat until you're up around triple digit speeds. Cold air helps all the time.

Re: ram air or cold air

on a v6 neither will help "much" This is money that could be put away for a future v8 swap or sell your vehicle and purchase a v8 equipped car.

Re: ram air or cold air

WEll yes if it is the v-6 you shouldn't use too much money as the motor won't see the gains you were hoping for. The Ram Air hood with air intake is a cold air set up but the down fall is the air filter element is open to all of the elements so it becomes adry weather car only and needs extra care during washes.
