Engine: 350 .30 over w/bang for buck combo
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock for now
vw 2.0 turbo on a 350?
i have the chance to get a turbo out of a vw jetta 2.0 t for free.... im wondering if there would be a way to put it on my carbed 350 without spending too much $$

one of those would give you MUCH more grief than satisfaction....you'd have to spin that size turbo to hell to get 3psi on a decent breathing 350, all you'd get is an abundant surplus of heat and a ruined turbo in no time.

I would say you need about 5 or six of those turbos to make any power. Plus I beleive the 2.0T turbo exhaust housing is part of the exhaust manifold.

Correct, the exhaust housing is apart of the manifold. That turbo is actually too small for the 2.0.
