What would be better

A 160 or 180 thermostat with a 100 shot of nitrous? I want to run cool but i didnt know if a 160 thermostat is too cold. I used to run it and it was when there was nitrous before. I want to save the life of my head gaskets and my motor period while i use it. So far with the 180 thermostat i dont like how it runs. It seems to run at such a lower rpm, 450-500. It also has a very low oil pressure than what it did before.(28 at idle). I was just curious if it was safer to do so.

The shot is going to be 100

the nitrous will cool the engine off. id stick with the 180 or whatever stock one you have.

Ya I was just curious if i should keep it colder which in theory would make y car super cool. I just dont want a big heat change because that would wear my head gaskets wouldnt it?

i'd stick with the 180. That should be plenty cold. I think 160 is too cold. I'm running TPIS 170 degree
