t70 master power?
i have been looking for a good turbo to run a single turbo set-up with bbs designs header i found this master power and it says its a .96 a/r 4" inlet with a 3" v-band outlet this will be going on a 350 with about 300whp. so is it any good? thanks

Re: t70 master power?
i wouldn't bother building a turbo car to only have 300rwhp.
just put together a 355 vortec combo and stay N/A for such a low goal.

Re: t70 master power?
there is nothing wrong with the MP turbos either. you can touch over 600hp with that turbo. and if you need more go with an S400.
i actually have one (MPT70) sitting here waiting for use. however i DID change up my combo a bit, i decided to use a cammed l03 instead of a built 350. with the 305 im aiming for 500hp @ 15-17psi.

edit: im actually using a bbs header also.
here it is mocked up on the 305 i pulled out:

its VERY close to the valve cover. bbs says a garret t-76 will physically fit, but i dunno! i mean its within a centimeter of the valve cover. (the compressor cover that is).

later today after i get the new 305 buttuned back up after the cam swap ill throw the entire set of shiny parts on it and take some pics.

Re: t70 master power?

there is less gap between the compressor cover and the valve cover than the turbine housing and the valve cover. sorry for the crappy photo i just kinda mocked it all up on there. also, didn't think about this at the time but i have no valve cover gasket on in this mock up. that's a good half centimeter or so.....

T76 will fit on BBSDesigns header with low valve covers
To answer the question of the t76 fit on our headers...

Re: t70 master power?
ok dumb question here whats the difference between a a/f.96 and a/f.70?
Re: t70 master power?
yep .96 on my turbine
its in simplist terms the size of the exhuast turbine.
the bigger turbine, takes longer to spool, but ultimately provides more power.
also reduces back pressure.
