garret a/r 1.39 hot side - go or no go?
I'm recently working on an engine swap. The engine is a 5.3L silverado motor.
Buick transmission with a 2800 stall converter. Now I got a hold of a garret turbo, pretty big I would say. it s a model TV8513 and I can only read the hot side and it says A/R 1.39. Now with the 5.3L engine and 2800 stall automatic converter would I be able to spool this turbo at all and if I would what would be the proximate rpm. Now yes i know this is not my correct match for my engine. Well aware of that, but the turbo was free and why not it looks cool. I don't mind lag and I don't need boost in low rpm. So please help me out. This is to all the experts on this site.
Turbo is brand new and could be very much for sale if I can't spool it.

You should have full boost around 5,000 RPM. It will be considered "laggy", but a 100HP shot of nitrous will help out before 5,000 RPM.
