CAI, fender or cowl?

CAI, fender or cowl?

I have a CAI for my vortech that runs down through the driver battery box tray, but with this motor it sits too high and hits the hood. Instead of cutting it up and trying to make it fit, would it just be better to run it up near the cowl area? 4" cowl.

i always liked the look when the filter is up near the dist i say put it in the cowl and take pictures
