I know it says it's for 68-69 Camaros, but does anyone know if we could do it in the 91 Camaro RS? I mean there is that spot right below the shifter...

I'd check myself, but I don't know the dimensions of this plate...

 

If I had a need for 4 more gauges.....I've got 2 extra cracked dash pads & I would mold that into the top of one & mount my gauges up high.

 

What do you mean? Right there on the dash pad?

 

Yeah....Gauges mounted up in the line of sight, not down low, where you hafta divert your eyes from the track to read them.

Molded in, not just "slapped" up on top of the pad.

 

idk....I kinda wanted to put the gauges like the voltmeter, water level and whatnot slapped down low so I don't have to look at them unless I REALLY want to see them

But how do you mold onto the dash pad?

 

I'd cut a little area out for them to sit down into, so they only stuck up halfway or so. Then either fiberglass the tops to blend down into the pad, or some kind of "mould", covered with a vinyl sheet or leather, over the whole dash top.

 

Is that remotely possible with the 91 Camaro Console though? I was thinking of doing something with the ashtray...?
