Ok i have a new 350 crate motor that is a carb. I was wondering what would be the best power adder? I know carb engines would mostly use a super charger for a power adder but would anything else work? like say an STS turbo. I have thought of NOS but i heard you can blow your engine using it. And i really dont want to buy a new hood but my hood is a SS hood which is like a 2inch cowl

 

Nitrous would be the "cheapest" route and if used correctly you wont blow your engine. Supercharger and turbo are both pricey depending on how crazy you want to get. All are doable just depends on how much you are willing to spend.

 

NOS is the cheapest route. If used correctly, you wont have any problems, especially if you stay under 200 hp shot (Wet)
