I prefer Procharger, obviously, but either one appropriately sized I'm sure will do close to the same. I like not worrying about the oil coming from the motor as well as not having to do the work for that.

I doubt it, I know my blower and bracket holding it get too hot to touch and I don't see even ambient air temperature oil helping that much to make a noticeable difference.

Id say go with procharger like said above since its self contained and will produce similar numbers. After what i saw earlier this year i wouldnt run and oil line to my pan or whatever my friend had it with a vortech he shredded his belt and it ripped the oil line out of his $300+ oil pan and the oil sprayed everywhere and he lost it all.

procharger is by far the best. but if you just want low hp then the vortec is cheaper

Re: which one of these supercharger is better?

I have been doing a good bit of research on superchargers as I am seriously considering purchasing one. The Procharger is what I 'm leaning toward. The P1-SC and D1-SC are both self contained head units, no need to tap into the oil pan. Just have to change the oil in it every 6000 miles and the P1-SC can produce up to 800HP.

The Procharger F-1 is also self-contained

I like paxton and they made a lot of superchargers just for 3rd gens and they are still around.
you can get them complete on ebay - about twice a year, for less than 1500.00 i just let one pass me by for 1025 and i am so pissed at myself for doing it.
