Curious of any known flawless combos.

I'm thinking, 9.5:1 compression, nx276hr cam, alum heads, and a holley 750 might pull it off. But I could be way wrong.

May trailer home a new project this weekend, especially if I sell the Z28 soon.

Sold the Corvette already.

Your combo is pretty close. We built a 355 with a weiand 142 blower for my buddys truck. We ran Crane hydraulic roller cam on ours. We had a crane 109841 hydraulic roller in ours. We had scat forged rotating assembly, 195cc dart iron eagle heads. After the overbore, deck, it ended up being about 9.2-1 compression. We ran a holley 750 supercharger carb. We were pushing about 8PSI into the motor. We we ended up getting 537hp. The torque curve was extremely flat. By 2200 RPM it was already pulling over 400ft/lbs.

 

That's kinda close to the same setup I'm running now, but I haven't had it on a dyno yet. Of course I have a 408, different blower (but kinda simular), Dart iron 200cc heads and 9.1:1 compression. Only have 3 pounds of boost, again, not positive about HP, but it's gotta be well over 400 since it made 390 HP before when it was NA, so 100 HP from the blower isn't asking too much I'd think.

- But I noticed you said "flawless" combo.....lol...don't know about that one.
