BBS Designs Turbo?
I emailed a while back.. no response....
I have a 91 TPI, looking for a single turbo system to keep AC and stuff...
The system he sells, is that just the turbo header for 1 side? What do I do with the other side, use existing header... what about y pipe ???
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Rafael

Re: BBS Designs Turbo?
I think he has sold side shorty header and cross over pipe for his single manifolds before...at extra cost.
But everything else you will have to fab up.

Re: BBS Designs Turbo?
yeah probly keep the 2055 driver header and run the cross over down below the oil pan then up into the BBS single turbo manifold.
For him to make that crossover, he'd have to have the header and mock up in place to fab it to fit..which can vary from car to car so thats probably why he doesnt do full kits like that.
its not hard to do the fabrication of piping tho, you'll still need to fab up the down pipe and cold side piping, so doing your own crossover is recommended

Found this pic on the xs-power site. I guess that's the bbs system. This is a similar setup to my single turbo and yes I kept AC (but mine is an 87 with driver side compressor)

So how do we get ahold of him to get the one side??? I had those XSpower ones and they were really crappy. Thin material and pinholes in the welds...

I am really tempted to buy the XS power one for a tempplate and build a GOOD one and sell them too people.
One made of 14-16AWG steel, 3/8 flanges etc.
