Paxton SN rebuilds... would Paxton know?
First off thanks to everyone for all the help on my new setup. Since I bought the car with a sn92 already installed and no paper work at all for the mods and since I have no experience with SC systems this board has been the greatest tool possible. Anyway I did the math and with the 6" crank pulley and 3 1/4" SC pulley it should be spinning around 46- 47k at the 5600rpm shift point. I was told it was rebuilt but have no paper work proving it. Would Paxton keep records for kits sold if I give them the serial #? Also from what I understand 37k is the absolut max for the sn92 is that true? Thanks again, any info is much appreciated.

I did the math that put me at the SC rpm I came up with... CP/SCPx4.4x RPM at shift point. Ive heard if the sn series is rebuilt it can take more rpms.

this might sound crazy, but I want to know why I can't modify my sn92 to be direct drive. Do away with ball clutch all together. Pulley on bearings to impeller. It already has upgraded impeller. I.m running ot on a 6.0 ls2 forged. Ported heads 600 lift cam. Thoughts, opinions? I'm serious. Ty

I know this is an old thread but Paradise Wheels bought the patent and all the inventory for Paxton’s ball drive super chargers last I know. I installed an SN2000 on my Formula 350 that I bought from Summit around 2000. The supplied belt for the supercharger was so tight I had to fight to get it on and it failed less than a year later. I sent it to Paradise Wheels who rebuilt it and sent me a slightly larger belt and haven’t had any trouble with it since.
