spraying a 5.0 TPI?

im thinking about spraying a little shot of NOS on my 305 TPI?
but im not sure it will be safe considering the motor has 160k miles and the motors all stock exept intake and exhaust
do you think it would be safe for a little 50-75 shot?

I think you will be good to go with 50-75. But if you get hooked on the spray start looking for a new motor before you go to any bigger jets. But I might be wrong you might be able to spray that motor with alot more than 50-75. If you can Im sure somebody will chime in.

Re: spraying a 5.0 TPI?

I read somewhere on here that the max that is recommended and is safe with stock internals is 125. I don't know how that would work out on a 160k engine, but I was also curious because I have 150k on mine and planned on doing the same thing.

I just installed(95%) Sniper 7006 NOS. I think was $350 on EBay. See pics on my recent post.

Check your local laws, lots of places have made it so if your caught with NOS on the street, your a street racer and you lose your car. Even if it was a seat belt stop and they see the tank, your automaticly guilty of being a street racer.

U can thank all those rycer movies for that.

Yeah if you have a bottle and its connected youre in trouble. However you can have the bottle in the car if it isnt.

Yeah, Yeah. This is posted all the time. Your statement is not true for all of USA. Check you local laws. As in real RSAs, not what the local parking ticket officer "thinks" is the law.

First NOS is a brand! Nitrous Oxide is the proper name or you can just put N20. When you say NOS you look no better then lil Johnny in his Civic with the wing that taste forgot.

Second do a compression test on your engine to give you a little better insight on its condition, judging just by miles doesnt tell you anything. Then youll have a little more information to help you decide to spray or not to spray!
