I have Procharger with a cog setup. The crank pulley accepts a v-belt on the inside but it would never line up with a long water pump pulley. What can I do to make this work? Could I get a cog pulley for the water pump as well? All it needs to spin is an alternator and a water pump. Thanks.

 

This is what I'm working with.

 

You really only have two options: (1) get a cog pulley for the water pump and the appropriate length belt to route across it and the head unit, or (2) just use an electric water pump. In either case, you can use the v-belt groove on the crank pulley to drive the alternator with a low mount alternator bracket. There are some obvious advantages to swapping out the mechanical water pump for an electric one. The electrical water pump will be more effective at circulating coolant in the engine at idle and low speed conditions because pump volume will not be contingent on engine speed, and it will free up some horsepower associated with driving the mechanical pump with a belt. One thing I like about the electric water pump design is that I can continue to circulate coolant through the engine even when the car isn't running to help prevent heat soak at the track. Ultimately, the decision is your's. Do what makes the most sense for your setup.
