Thanks.

Put oil feed and return onto turbo.

Found out my 3" down pipe isnt going to work. the actual outlet of a mp t76 q trim is 3.25 so the v band i had isnt going to work. So im going to a 3.5" while i still have the chance.

working on all the intercooler plumbing got a little done on that.

got to still move battery to the back too

Well i got them with the motor(bought the block, pistons, and my old heads from a guy and had my machince shop guy clean everything up and machince all of it) but my machine shop guy said that they were trw forged pistons when he cleaned them all up for me. they are 2 valve relief pistons but im not exactally sure on full specs. but i should be between 9:1 to 9.5:1 compression

Looks good, going to be a nice setup! May make a suggestion on moving that MSD unit off the firewall when the downpipe is going right underneath it.... thats going to be a LOT of heat and may kill that unit

Re: 91 rs t76 build!

Heat shield it well. My downpipes and manifolds radiate alot of heat and have started to melt wires up to about a foot away Definately wrap the pipes and shield off the unit.

Good luck with the project

Re: 91 rs t76 build!

OMG Orr is sooo right on this one. That is an incredibly hot area on a single turbo car... maybe if you have a cowl hood not so bad, but on a sealed stock hood that area is a definite hot spot.

Re: 91 rs t76 build!

Hey ur gonna wanna get at least a 4" hood specialy if you're using an ev hat and spacer. The ev hat might clear a 2" cowl but with the spacer it won't.

I thought the same thing until I got my setup running. it does get hot. Wrap really helps. Double layer if you can but that gets very thick and not sure if a 3.5" with alot of wrap will fit down that location.

You've done a good job so far. My TA is the same color and I love it. How much boost/hp are you planning for? With the cast crank/rods I might be a little worried. How are you controlling timing?

Looking good... let's see some cruising videos asap! I'm trying to talk my friend into selling his centrifugal blower and doing the same thing to his 79 T/A. I think he's just about sold on the turbo idea! I'll show him your vids for motivation.
