Ok i have a 92 camaro z28 t-5 heritage package on it if it matters. 305 tbi by the way. The car is totally stock. I am wanting to get around 350 horsepower out of it. Or get down to about 13.00 flat in the 1/4. Any help would be appreciate me and my brother have been racing eachother for years and I just can't seem to beat him. Right now he is running a 96 cobra. And he runs a 13.2 and for once i wanna beat my brother lol. Anyhelp would be great right now i'm running a 14.6. So I know shaving more less a second and a half is not gonna be easy. Also wanna keep my car nice and reliable any ideas?

 

nitrous! cheap and easy,, you only need to beat him once then,,, RETIRE!

I just put a turbo on my 305 and i love it! but it's only been 2 days so i dont' know what im running in the 1/4. but it was time consuming and expensive

What is all involved in putting on a turbo. It would be great if you could be kind of detailed. And how much horsepower does it add and at what psi? And also whats the round about cost of a turbo?

 

check out 305 turbo GTA tread. I have about $2500 into it but i don't weld. that doesn't include the stand alone fuel management system. you may find a kit on ebay but some of the things i got on ebay weren't all that good, the turbo is holding up for 3 days at least!

nitrous would run about $500-800 and install in an afternoon
