Radiator outlet hose idea

I know most with a procharger system have issues with the upper radiator hose coming close to the belt / pulley and was wondering if anyone found a rubber hose that is a full 90 degree bend like a right angle as opposed to a radiused 90 degree bend. Some with a Be Cool radiator had it welded so the outlet is like what my idea is but since our stock radiators arent metal..... Just a thought is all.....

Re: Radiator outlet hose idea

I noticed this problem as well when going to a cog drive. I took the expensive route and had Ron Davis Racing modify their standard 82-92 Camaro radiator to point the return connection up instead of into the engine bay.

If I were to do it again, I'd have them center it and point it at the intake manifold in the middle of the radiator.

But as you can see, they make generic hoses in various lengths with 90 degree bends on them that you can use. The real problem is holding the hose in place once it's attached.
