Hey, guys I have a sbc409 specs are comp soild cam don't remember the duration. But the intake lift is 540 the ex 520. Heads aluminum 190 runner 2.02 1.6 valves and 64cc chambers. 6 inch rods hyper flattops.. 11.5:1 compression. Quick fuel 850 carb nx nitrous system 100 to 250 shot plate system. 410 gear in a s10 truck and probably 28"tire. How would a victor jr. Work compared to a rpm airgap or reg rpm intake? motor revs to 7000 rpm. 2400 to 6800 is the power range of cam. O and its a manual tranny thanks guys

I think it will like the vic jr over the dual plane stuff even tho the heads are small for the cubes. Cam may be 2800-6800 but the heads will be the restriction and likely cap it off below 6500, even with alot of duration.

Check out Speier racing heads 210cc profiler's. Theres a 406 on there that made 580hp with a mild solid flat tappet cam like yours.
