Take your time with the rebuild. look VERY closely at the pistons for signs of cracks with a VERY bright light.

Wire the relay for the nitrous so it opens ONLY if the fuel solenoid is energized aswell. ( nitrous relay switch power from out going fuel solenoid main power)

Also to prevent future damage, get a fuel pressure safety switch. On Nx systems it's wired to cut the ground to the relay for the nitrous solenoid. (instant shut off of nitrous if it falls below a tunable pressure.)

i'd scrap the nitroius an go turbo . it's cheaper in the long run .
