Re: Lets see those BLOWERS and PROCHARGERS!!!
I have decided to remove the crappy blueish/purple powder coat of this thing...as it is poorly done. high and low areas all over and paint runs, also on top of the volute its realy thick and done just plain wrong, guy said the blower was painted to match some car but damn this shat is UGLY! So I started picking with a knife and the areas that were already chipped off and the knife was blasting threw the crap but it was leaving just to many scratch marks for my taste so I tried some 80 grit sand paper and it works good just a bit to ruff though. Ill grap so softer grit tomorrow and see how that fairs. If any body knows a better way to do it im all ears.

-Paint is FLYING off with even less scratch of blower housing. (volute)

Its a real strong paint stripper. I use it all the time on anything needing stripped of paint, powder coating , etc..

End of the night pics.
Got the rest of that CHEAP oil out
, and poured what was left of a bottle (1/4 or less) of castrol GTX syntec 20w-50.

-Good night all, and "May the boost be with you."

Re: Lets see those BLOWERS and PROCHARGERS!!!
That blower was originally for a LT1 system. The blower mounts up-side down on those applications. You can also tell because the mister nozzle is in the LT1 position. If there is a drain plug in the backing plate at the 6 o'clock position, you can move the fitting in the cover to the backing plate and run the blower in the typical 3rd gen configuration. Another way to tell if the original app. was LT1, is to mark the mister nozzle and pull it out, when looking at the end if it you will see 2 holes (instead of the normal 1 hole). This second hole (on the angle) lubricates the input bearing in the up-side down position. Any questions, call Procharger. Hope this helps.

Re: Lets see those BLOWERS and PROCHARGERS!!!
Do you have the nozzle with the angle? The tip has a chamfered side and has 2 openings. This is an LT nozzle. I have been looking or one, ATI will not sell one to me. They want me to send in my SC which would cost me hundreds of dollars. Insane!!! I need a spare nozzle for the LT1. A normal orientation will not need the nozzle. I will buy you a new nozzle or send you a normal one. They have a straight spray pattern, not angled,

We need some psi and dyno numbers here guys!
Here is mine...661rwhp @21psi and 4900 rpm on a Mustang dyno.
Broke up there due to coil... Will be back on 16psi, meth, and new coil hoping for 650rwhp on a dynojet(dont wanna run 21 psi..)

Re: Lets see those BLOWERS and PROCHARGERS!!!

Made the new universal Vortec kit fit my car. It was relatively easy. I redrilled the holes in the mounting bracket to position everyithing 1.5" lower then reclocked the charger. Then everything fit under the hood.
I also got them to send the T-type charger from the big block kit for a couple hundred dollars more. So for less than 2500 dollars I have a brand new high HP capable blower set up.
So the motor was built for boost, but as luck would have it this happened 2 weeks after the fun began.

So I have decided to take it to the next level.

The short block is on the way, then I have some valvetrain work to do:-)

I don't have brand new in the box ones, they don't sell them brand new to customers. They only sell them brand new installed by them. That's the problem.

Oh, i have a manual with the complete aprts list. I can get the numbers for you this weekend. It's for 88 up though. I only used the bracket, the rest I made myself. Not too hard.
What all do you need? Everything but the head unit?

Have you checked over here for the list you need?
http://www.superchargerhelp.com/index.php
Why not just trade him even up? used nozzle for used nozzle. You both get the right part you need and everyone is happy?

I have to pay for shipping mine to you and yours back too, and I have to pay taxes over the shipment back to me, either way it's already costing me a lot of money (parts are up to 3 times as expensive here as over there)

A whole bunch of hoses, pipes, clamps and a complete bracket as well as a dual intercooler setup but I'm keeping it all since I'm probably going to stick a SC on my truck since I have one of those vortech carb boxes for it.
